Creating hand made picture frames that enhance, not take over

I first started to make my own professional quality frames because I wanted to frame my own pictures. I now frame anything from a simple sketch to spiders, tee shirts or even arrows stuck one in the end of the other. I carry stock moulding but also have the ability to create bespoke mouldings for clients wishing to be unique.

Mitres are cut on a Morso mitre cutter, joints are glued then underpinned with a pneumatic underpinning machine. These two machines are essential for a perfectly mitred corner.

Company history

As mentioned above I got into picture frames because I am a watercolour artist and I wanted to complete the whole process. I tried with mitre saws but it was clear that, to achieve the quality I demanded, professional equipment was going to be needed. So here we are, some time later, producing frames for other artists, both amateur and professional.

I am now framing for several art groups, and any groups or clubs that pass regular business to me will attract a group discount for their members.

Bespoke mouldings

I have the ability to machine mouldings that will give your

special picture a unique frame. This can be in hard or soft wood and I do carry limited amounts of oak, cherry and yew for this purpose. I also will colour real wood frames to customer's wishes. Basically you can have what you want, not what someone wants to give you. I also have the facility to cut and store wood from your own tree to create a totally unique frame.
